Does snoring disturb your sleep?

For you or your partner, poor sleeping can cause health risks, frustration and fatigue, and snoring can be a major contributor to this problem. Because snoring may be a symptom of a health issue, it is important to consult a health care professional for a thorough diagnosis. In addition to health risks, these effects can also include loss of sexual attraction or the ability to perform, irritation, or poor productivity at work.

The Michigan Snore Clinic offers new in-office procedures which can effectively identify and treat snoring and chronic nasal congestion. These include minimally invasive approaches like the Pillar® Procedure and turbinate reduction. The Michigan Snore Clinic also offers convenient in-home sleep studies. Snoring may also be a sign of sleep apnea, a more serious condition and sleep monitoring is commonly recommended for patients suspected of having sleep apnea.

Even though there are many over-the-counter anti-snoring products, like nasal strips, throat sprays, pillows, watches and chin straps, none has been proven to be effective in studies conducted by major health care and media organizations.

If your sleep or your partner’s isn’t restful due to snoring, and you're suffering from the effects of a poor night's sleep, please call the Michigan Snore Clinic today for an appointment.
